Eight of Swords
First glance this card seems hopeless. The woman is bound & blindfolded. Surrounded by water, and swords. It's raining and she's barefoot. Things look dark & desperate.
However, if you look in the distance, there is a hole in the clouds letting in some light! Giving way to better days ahead.
If one looks at this dark situation one can see other positive aspects of this card.
The swords are in such a position as they can be used to cut the ties that bind.
The swords also represent protection from the unknown once the ties are cut.
She is barefoot & therefore grounded to the earth. This is helpful when finding ones way in life. Staying grounded is important to survival.
This card helps us to see that negativity doesn't always have to be the end view. With the right frame of mind, there are better days ahead. Just work with what you have and become a better human for it.
