Tarot Readings

This card is intense.

The horse has its ears laid back like it is determined to charge forward. The Knight is in the same mode. The armor signifies protection as does the wand. The Salamander represents either rebirth or healing.

There is much positivity in this card. The Knight is in control of the horse and whatever situation both are in. He is confident because of his armor and is unafraid of whatever he is aproaching knowing he has everything he needs to complete his mission.

The mission is a short one but intense. The outcome positive because both are prepared.

First glance this card seems hopeless. The woman is bound & blindfolded. Surrounded by water, and swords. It's raining and she's barefoot. Things look dark & desperate.

However, if you look in the distance, there is a hole in the clouds letting in some light! Giving way to better days ahead.

If one looks at this dark situation one can see other positive aspects of this card.

The swords are in such a position as they can be used to cut the ties that bind.

The swords also represent protection from the unknown once the ties are cut.

The desert setting is intimidating, the King focused.

The throne with the head of the lion suggests fierceness or determination. Determination can also be sensed by the Kings forward stance on the throne; even though he's seated.

The salamanders, one on the pin of his cloak, the other on the ground represent rebirth or regeneration as they can regrow new body parts at will.

The helmet, staff, and gloves lend a sense of service to the Kings strict demeanor.

Tarot is something I picked up a couple years ago. I've largely done readings for myself & those that I could get to set through a reading so I could learn how to interpret the cards.

I've realized the less thought I put into it the easier the reading come. I think, for me, just letting my heart do the interpreting works best.
