The Sun Card

This is the card I pulled from the Tarot deck for myself. Today it was the Sun card.

In this card, I observe a child without clothing riding a horse. This suggests that life is simple and free from the usual worries and responsibilities that accompany modern life.

The stone wall in the backdrop serves as a powerful symbol of the safety and security that surrounds the garden, creating a protective barrier that allows for a space of creativity and growth.

This wall, with its sturdy and unyielding structure, not only delineates the boundaries of the garden but also signifies a sanctuary where one can explore thoughts and ideas without the fear of external judgment or interruption.

I interpret this to mean that within the confines of this secure environment, I will be able to engage in the creative process freely and wholeheartedly, cultivating my artistic expressions in a space that feels nurturing and supportive.

The presence of the wall suggests that I can focus on my work, knowing that I am shielded from the distractions and uncertainties of the outside world. This sense of safety is essential for fostering creativity, as it allows for experimentation and the development of new concepts without the anxiety that often accompanies the exposure of one's work to the public eye.

In essence, the stone wall not only marks the physical limits of the garden but also represents the emotional and psychological comfort that comes from creating in a space that is entirely my own, where I can let my imagination flourish and evolve.

The garden itself represents my safe space. I will have a safe space in which to create, grow, & learn in the coming days.

The sunflowers represent the sun itself. They grow beyond the wall which tells me I am safe to go beyond the wall to the outside world with what I have created & learned.

I can do these things with a feeling of confidence & safety, knowing I have the garden to come home to in the end.
